Crack Up Some Jntuanantapur Easter Cascarones

Sure you can buy cascarones ready-made, but eggs for dinner is always a good idea, so why not try making your own cascarones. A craft project and a meal all in one.

Supplies:

• eggs
• decorating supplies
• sharp knife
• craft glue
• tissue paper
• confetti or colorful cereal 

With a sharp knife or kitchen scissors, make a hole about the size of a coin in one end of the eggs.  

Traditionally there is a hole at each end and you blow the eggs out. However, larger single holes make the eggs easier to wash out with soap and water. Save the eggs for dinner (remove excess shells)!

Decorate the eggs however you like: dye, stickers or covered in confetti and baking sprinkles using craft glue.

Roll a piece of paper into the shape of a small funnel that will fit inside the hole in the eggs.

Fill the eggs with confetti or colorful cereal.

Use a small square of tissue paper and glue to patch the hole on top.

Hand out the eggs to all the kids and take cover.

Encourage kids to gently crack the confetti eggs onto friends heads.  

The last step is to shake out your hair!
