Reclaim Your Space With Kitchen Crashers, Worse Kitchen In American III

By incorporating a contiguous kitchen and living area, the new design is better suited not only to cooking, but to family gatherings and casual entertaining. The simple coffee table, custom-built by Alison and homeowner Brigitte, was crafted out of wood crates, stained dark then assembled to create modular storage as well as tabletop surface.

About the show

Weekend warriors across the country get more than they bargained for when they run into designer Alison Victoria and her Kitchen Crashers at the home improvement store. Homeowners hand over the keys, and what started as a simple shopping trip turns into the coolest kitchen on the block, when Alison and her crew make a total transformation from so-so to showstopper.

Atomic Green Retro Kitchen

This kitchen is so old the ceiling is literally falling down. Alison updates the space to match the homeowner's retro atomic vibe. This kitchen comes alive with high gloss white cabinets, vintage diamond shaped backsplash in green and gold, and apple martini green countertops. To add to the design, Alison builds a custom retro kidney shaped table in black walnut with vintage gold legs and shelving system from chrome pipes.

Vegas Cabana Kitchen

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers crew tackle an outdoor kitchen that starts with absolutely nothing. This Las Vegas home has an enormous back yard that Alison re-imagines with a hotel styled cabana kitchen at its hub. The transformation begins with new pavers, outdoor cabinetry, and an enormous shade structure with his and her sides and an outdoor TV. Other custom touches include a swinging day bed, wine barrel stave shelving, a carry along beer caddy, a folding truck-bed bench, outdoor wine bar and beer tap, plus desert friendly plants throughout the new space.

Caffeinated Kitchen

Alison has her hands full with this cramped kitchen that doesn't match the rest of the house. To start, she moves everything, taking down the wall between the dining room and kitchen, removing a small window, minimizing the large window and moving the sink to face the backyard. Once the layout is in better shape, Alison gets going on the finishes, selecting gray cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and a large white farm sink. A wood accent piece is added to the peninsula to give it the feel of a furniture piece and a Jntuanantapur rope shelf carries the wood finishes onto the wall. Just when this kitchen seems to have it all, Alison goes even further, taking the old pantry and turning it into a cozy coffee bar.

Season 6, Episode 13

"Sick" (in a good way) Paris Kitchen

Alison and her Kitchen Crashers crew find a kitchen that is already big and double it. The homeowners have a giant family and not enough room so the walls come down to create an enormous space. Then the amazing stuff starts flooding in, all with a Paris flair. New flooring and cabinets in two colors, both wooden and quartz countertops, and all new appliances begin to fill up the space. Next Alison teaches the homeowners how to create custom pieces like a new storage hutch with a paint and wax treatment, marble backsplash, and candle holders made from galvanized pipes. But the crowning jewel is a range vent that rises from the huge peninsula and lights up like a space ship. The homeowners are left speechless, crying tears of joy.

Modern Kitchen Makeover

Alison has a big project on her hands as she flips an ancient kitchen into a modern masterpiece. To start, she re-vamps the floor plan, eliminating a window, opening up the doorway to a small nook and doubling the size of the main entrance to include a sliding glass door. Once the layout is in place, Alison brings in all things modern to give the space a clean, linear look. High gloss neon green cabinetry add pop to the room while wavy ceramic backsplash tiles and white quartz countertops give the room a neutral and stylish feel. For Jntuanantapur projects, Alison and Trey work on a pull-out pantry that fits right into an old closet space and Alison and Maria tackle a tree-themed bar area and custom wood wall.

Gigantic Blue Island Kitchen

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers Crew find a couple of California homeowners who have a really big kitchen. The problem is size is the only thing this space has going for it, everything else is old and dated and half of the flooring is exposed plywood. The plan involves adding even more room by removing a wall and then the new finishes start flooding in. This ambitious renovation starts with new flooring throughout both the kitchen and living room spaces and new cabinets in both light and dark. Part of the cabinet package includes a huge kitchen island, painted blue, and topped with a manufactured stone countertop and then custom built elements like a sliding barn door, pub table, and a doggy feeding hutch are added. Lots of tears and laughter fill this new kitchen when the homeowners are called in for the for the final reveal.

Sleek Super Kitchen

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers gang remove some walls and build others to form a gigantic kitchen space. After demo, what was once the most hated room in the house doubles in size to become one of the largest kitchens of the show. The transformation begins with new floors, cabinets, and countertops. Then custom items are built like a rolling bar cart, note panels in the cabinet doors, and a light fixture that gets a facelift with a "crate shade." There are both tears of joy and laughter when these homeowners finally get to see this enormous space.

Add to that custom details which Alison builds with the homeowners including a small mud cubby, doggie feeding station, and baskets made from paint sticks to store both human and dog items.

Plus, Alison designs a custom dining banquette area, vintage nesting suitcase tables with turquoise legs, and a one of a kind gold record stool.

Operation Kitchen Crash

When Alison walks into John and Kerry's kitchen, she realizes they weren't kidding around, the space is in desperate need for a crash. Without much additional space to expand into, Alison takes on the layout first, closing off several windows and breaking out the wall into the butler's pantry to make space for the L-shaped kitchen. With more wall space available, Alison adds dual colored cabinetry and open shelving in every direction, giving this family more storage and prep space than they ever thought possible. Granite countertops, laminate flooring and a Jntuanantapur organization wall give the kitchen a fresh start and a chance at durability against the couple's four young boys.

Dripping in Gold Kitchen

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers crew find an artistic and eclectic couple and deliver a kitchen to match. The renovation starts with a full demo of the space. Then the new stuff starts flying in like new cabinets in two finishes, white countertops, new appliances, lighting and black paint. The custom elements are created including a bar cart from the original cabinets, a huge living wall, and reclaimed wall treatment. The homeowners are thrilled beyond their expectations at the final result.
